Restaurant Review: Eataly
Eataly is a must go place when in Boston, New York City or one of the other locations. When I went to Boston my roommate and best friend Andrea and I went to Eataly for lunch. She had been there before but I hadn't.
Eataly is not only a restrauant but also a store. There are multiple restaurants inside and it is a super busy place. My roommate and I went to the pizza and pasta restaurant. Th hostess was super nice and sat us at the pizza bar, where we were able to watch the chefs make all the pizzas.
The menu had many pizza and pasta options and I was happy to see that they had a gluten free pizza as well (I have celiac). My roommate ordered a pasta with a red sauce and I ordered a gluten free black truffle pizza. Even though the restaurant was busy the service was still super fast and we got our food in under 10 minutes. When my pizza came it had olive oil, house made mozzarella, and black truffle pesto with black truffle shavings on top. While the pizza was on the expensive side it was probably the best gluten free pizza I have ever had. The truffle flavor was noticeable, but it was not too over powering. Also, it was a big pizza so I was able to take some back to the dorms with me.
Overall I 100% recommend everyone tries Eataly at least once. They have so many food options and all the ingredients are either house made and super fresh.
